Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh

The EMBA Program at the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh is a cohort-based program which provides its students with a unique opportunity to gain broad business acumen from lecture in the classroom as well as interaction with professionals from a variety of industries and a number of regions throughout the world. Our program is designed for busy working professionals with a class schedule that meets on Fridays and Saturdays of alternating weekends.

The 19-month program format accommodates a demanding professional schedule and reduces the time outside of the office. Our classes meet on alternating weekends, enabling busy professionals to participate in their class and still be a productive member of their team.

Our EMBA program has a global focus and gives students exposure to the worldwide marketplace. EMBA Worldwide students participate in three Global Executive Forums, on three continents, and develop an international perspective, and the ability to communicate, negotiate, and manage across cultures. With classmates at our other EMBA Program locations in Prague, Czech Republic and Sao Paulo, Brazil, students expand their network in South America and Central Europe.

The knowledge our students gain in the classroom is immediately applicable to the real world of business. Case studies, assignments drawn from real issues faced by students in their organizations, and faculty which are not only on the cutting edge of research and business theory, but engaged in extensive consulting work, guarantee an immediate ROI for your organization.

The curriculum equips executives with the solid content they need to become more competent, confident, and credible resources for your organization as a whole. Our curriculum is streamlined to include a mix of required courses, international experience, and electives, aiding in visioning for the future as well as navigating negotiations and executing strategic leadership for change. In addition, EMBA Worldwide enables students to learn, not only from our professors, but from their network of colleagues in the classroom.
